Back from the dead

Here’s what I missed:

• Blu-Ray is in front, but not in Europe.
• The Xbox360 dashboard update will include h.264 and Mpeg4, but probably not for streaming to the device. Well, they got close, right?
• I’m only half-way through ‘Hard’ in Guitar Hero 2 and RedOctane announces GH3. I better get cracking.
• 8 cores. Thats a whole lotta Mac.
• And apparently you can get into Big Brother this year, Willy Wonka style, by buying Starburst candy. Will they have the balls to throw in a completely random, untested, non-psych-evaluated housemate into the game? Probably not.
