What’s all that about?

I dont get it. A week after your bitter rival enters the PAL market, you add a third machine to a lineup that already has one machine too many? Despite what Sony would have you believe, HDMI is not the be all and end all. The new 120gig drive is also, as expected, way overpriced as a seperate item but since anyone outside of the US has no video marketplace content to download to it – who cares? And about HDMI – I guess this rules out any kind of adapter for old machines too huh? Rad.

Ok, so this thing is obviously not aimed at current owners, I get that. But all it does is put doubt in an average punter’s mind as to the better value system. Since the lowest common denominator is actually the most expensive unit, people will now see $1000 vs $800(approx) instead of the current $1000 vs $600. At least put Wi-fi in it or something, damn.

What a dodgy move Microsoft. Really baffling stuff. I’m so very disappointed in you, Xbox team.

At least it comes with the HDMI cable. Zing.
