BSG: Crossroads Pt 2

Wow. Plenty of spoilery goodness herein.

This makes up for the boxing episode, Scar and the one where Starbuck kills herself for some reason combined. It certainly performed the role of the particular type of finale that Battlestar Galactica has now perfected – the cliffhangar that will also provide the juice for the entire coming season. And just after answering the main question of the whole season, the final scene leaves us with 9 months or so of speculation.

The Baltar verdict
Apollo comes full circle as Baltar is left to his own devices (to some degree). Apollo vs Adama Round 2 is still to come…

The final 4
Wowee. I was able to pick up the All along the Watchtower hints a little early in the episode but the revelation was surprising none the less. I really hope this isnt a clever ruse and turns out to be the real deal. (Edit: Yep, real deal.)

Is Starbuck the fifth?
Is it actually Lee and Starbuck is a 6/Baltar style illusion? I think some people would be pissed if this device was used a 3rd time, but I think it would be great. Sure, it’d be great if she is the 5th too. Of course, it could turn out that Bob Dylan is the final model.

That sequence at the end?
I gotta get a good shot of that.

Its a long time until we get another fix of Cylons, Sixes, Sharons and Starbuck. Its gonna be looooong wait.
